HD Clinical holds a framework contract with Connecting for Health for the provision of clinical integration products and services.
These products enable a wide range of medical device data sources to connect and deliver results to clinical systems. In addition to providing links to HD Clinical's own clinical record systems our expertise in this area has been recognised by other software vendors and we are very pleased to work with them, supplying HL7 integration to their products. A number of installations of Unisoft endoscopy systems are integrated using HD Clinical HL7 integration in the background. Recently Health Edge has joined the organisations using our HL7 capability to enhance their products.
Connecting image data to clinical records is a key requirement in many clinical specialties. HD Clinical provides comprehensive integration of image data with links to radiology information systems (RIS), picture archiving and communication systems (PACS) and stand-alone image archives.
The order communications product (OrderComms) enables tracking of orders from their origin onto the devices and then returns the results to an installed HD Clinical system or any other third-party system implemented by Trusts.
